Your data is stored securely in our database, accessible only to you (and administrators for support purposes). Access to your data is restricted using account-level security rules so that only you can view, edit, or delete your own records.

Budget Mate may use trusted third-party service providers (such as our hosting and infrastructure provider) to operate the app. These providers only process data as needed to deliver the service and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
5. DATA RETENTION
We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. You can delete individual records (transactions, goals, budgets, etc.) at any time from within the app. If you'd like your entire account and data deleted, please contact us via the Feedback page.
6. YOUR CHOICES
You control what information you enter into Budget Mate. You may edit or delete your data at any time. You may also export your data to a spreadsheet from the Transactions page.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Budget Mate is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. SECURITY
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
